In celebration of the rebuilt Boian Church, a new 2026 Photo Directory will be published. This Directory will be an historic record of our church family, honouring the members who are active in the church, those who feel a sense of belonging with St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church.
If you look back at the 1998 Centennial Boian Church Photo Directory, each name and photo is special to those who remember them, know them and learn about them. The new directory would be another treasure in our church’s great history.
To be involved, please make an appointment to have your photo taken without charge by a professional photographer. Paid up Boian Church members can choose the most convenient location for their Photo appointment, either at Boian Hall or the Romanian Center in Edmonton at Saints Constantine and Elena Romanian Orthodox Church. You can also purchase your photos too. However, there is no obligation. All who participate in this project will receive a free photo directory. For any members who live too far away or are unable to arrange an appointment at Boian or Edmonton, they are invited to submit their own photo to be included, for a fee of $25 and they will also receive the 2026 Boian photo directory.
